Moving is soooo stressful but finding this company took something overwhelming into really doable and affordable. The price meant I could take my 4 bedroom house and outdoor belongings with me. They provided insurance, packing tips and no end of friendly supportive information.
Even when there was changes on my end with when I could get access to a unit and lots of mucking around from changes my side Container Relocations were helpful and prompt in any communication.
Would recommend for anyone to use and hugely cheaper less mucking around than moving companies!

Container Relocations provided just the right service to meet my needs. Having my household belongings picked up and carefully loaded into a container, locked up, moved via rail and stored until I was ready to receive them, then delivered and unloaded was perfect. At each step of the process everyone involved was very polite, helpful, professional, flexible. Correspondence and communicating was clear, regular and timely. Container Relocations took the anxiety out of a stressful process. I would highly recommend them to anyone needing a moving service.

Made the move simple, stress free and easy. Container Relocations provided a very competitive cost to move to the South Island with different options. We had lots of support and advice throughout the process and it all went according to plan. The load and unload was superb, team worked their magic to make all of our belongings fit. They work incredibly hard. Unload was quick and efficient. No problems at all and would highly recommend.

From start to finish this was an excellent job. The approach is personal but professional and the container idea is brilliant and keeps the cost down over such a long move. The price was very competitive and well managed at all stages. The crew on both ends were fantastic. We can't praise them enough for their hard work and all they did. We suggest being generous to the moving teams, making sure they have drinks and food, and give them a generous tip. These guys work very hard for what they do and they went many extra miles for us. We can't thank Container Relocations for making what is one of the most stressful experiences people can undergo, far less stressful than it might have. Cannot recommend them too highly. An exceptional company going beyond expectations.

Movement went exceptionally well at all stages and it was a pleasure to work with the team.
Only slight area for improvement would be intercommunication at invoicing stage where some small additional charges which had been cancelled were then invoiced out - not a big deal as we go them sorted!

We had fantastic service. From the organization of pick up to the brilliant communication all the way through. We had no address to move to immediately so it was stored for us till we could get a storage unit in our town. Amazing staff and careful handling of our belongings. We would highly recommend this company if you need to move! Particularly from the North Island to the South Island.

The team in the office were great answering all my questions and supplying me with all the relevant information. The staff who did the loading and unloading were great too. Much cheaper than a truck. They walked me through all the decisions and helped source insurance even for some specialty art work. They loaded and unloaded with care and faster than I expected. Even managed the stuff that I thought would be tricky with ease.

Amazing! cheapest and fastest by a long way. Within four days they picked up my full household items for the north island and dropped them off in the south island. Right in the middle of L4/L3 Covid restrictions the move via Container on Rail and Sea was a great option for us and was half the price of any truck removal company we tried. They were friendly, responsive, honest, helpful and most importantly very professional and careful with our stuff. They took real care when packing the container and got everything in (including some large extras) with some superb packing techniques and lots and lots of safety blankets! The container arrived and was unloaded very carefully and quickly within a couple of hours and only a couple of days after leaving Auckland. Some great follow up and checks afterwards were really nice touches to check on any issues or breakages (there weren't any!). All in all a great service that I would definitely use again and recommend to anyone. Thank you to all involved.

[names removed by Sirelo] and the team at Container Relocations did an amazing job moving us from Nelson to Auckland! They provide a very professional and friendly service, and my wife and I were very impressed. As someone new to container moves I had lots of questions about various aspects of the move, and the team were always quick to respond by email, text, or phone. The process was very transparent and easy to understand. The price was considerably cheaper than the other options available, but there were no corners cut in the service they provided. I estimate that the move cost about half of what it would have done with many of their competitors. While they did have insurance available at a good price, we found that our regular AMI house contents insurance extended to the move as well so we didn’t need any extra.
The container was clean and tidy, with an enormous stack of blankets to wrap up our goods. The size of the container is deceptively large – it seems small when empty but we managed to get pretty much all of our three bedroom house into it, including fridge, washing machine, bicycles, beds, etc. The container was dropped off professionally right in front of our house and carefully picked up. We have a lot of precious family antiques and valuables, some very fragile items that have been with us a long time. Nothing what broken in the move; they were very careful at every stage.
The whole process took a very short time and we were able to track the shipment throughout its journey north. We chose the rail move which was only slightly more expensive than by sea but was much faster. This is the preferred option for sure. The container was picked up on a Thursday, was in Auckland by Friday, and we moved in on a Tuesday morning. The two movers who unloaded our container in Auckland were efficient and friendly. Engaged with Container Relocations well in advance as I didn't have a firm move date. They were brilliant at supplying all the necessary information. When the time came, the turn around time required to organise the pickup & drop off was very very short. It was very important to us that it would arrived on the specific date. Movers at both ends took good care with my stuff - and even called before moving date to give me advice and tips to help me with packing. At destination one of the guys even helped me do the finishing touches to get the bed frame set up. Really appreciated that extra assistance. Amazing bunch of guys very organised at both ends - we shifted from Bay of Plenty to Central Hawkes Bay with our house load of goods stored for 5 months in between. They picked up stored and then delivered on request with no hiccups- thank you very much for the wonderful service.

Great to deal with from start to finish. Helped us understand what we needed to do in order to have our belongings moved. Answered all the questions we had and nothing was too much hassle.
We wanted to collect some items before going into long term storage, which they were able to facilitate. They were also able to pick up our contents in the midst of a lockdown in Auckland. If you're looking for someone who cares and can efficiently move you, then these guys are the ones to go with.

Every person we spoke to who worked for this company was very helpful and seemed to enjoy their work. The company went above and beyond to assist with weather/flooding delays and our container was barely delayed despite a complete change of travel method.

[name removed by Sirelo], the driver of the truck, was very kind and helpful and he brought another person to help with carrying the heavy furniture items (we self packed everything). He also made sure everything would fit inside the 20 foot container. Quick and pleasant experience. Communication over the email was good too. We had to move at short notice and everything was organised in less than a week.

I am absolutely disgusted, with the unprofessional handling of my beautiful furniture and items. The Slate on my kitchen island bench was cracked and broken. Only something very heavy like my outdoor cast wrought iron chairs dropping onto it from height would have done this damage. I have my beautiful queen bed head and base covered in a pale aqua velvet is now full of takeaways grease finger prints. The head of my garden statue is broken off. One box of precious china and framed signed prints wrapped in bubble wrap smashed. What happened here? Obviously there has been no training of staff. On loading and unloading at the other end there were staff who had no idea of what they were doing.i am really angry. I did complain and nothing has come out of it. Do not use this company very upsetting. Sharyn. New Zealand
